Brandywine has always sought out the leaders in labeling software, label printing hardware and regulatory compliance to comprehensively assemble the three legs of the stool – software, hardware, label media – required for excellence in product labeling. Our involvement with top tier industry partners ensures our customers’ labels are compliant and operationally efficient.

On the software side, we also enable our clients to leverage their own significant software investment to implement an effective hazard communication platform. We’re working closely with industry leaders in SDS Authoring and Labeling systems – including SAP GLM, UL Wercs, Verisk 3E and IHS Sphera among others – so that we can make best practice recommendations, an advantage beyond the scope of most label manufacturers.

Employing the correct printer hardware is essential for a good, solid labeling program.  We’ll take the guesswork out of printer decisions by recommending printers based on proven label media testing for compliance and operational efficiency.  Supported brands and models from HP, Epson, Lexmark, Ricoh, NeuraLabel, Afinia, Colordyne and others will be part of any label discussion we have with customers – your success is our success!

Finally, our proprietary, cloud-based design-and-printing platform – the Label Collaboration Tool (LCT) – gives Brandywine clients the ability to have their GHS-compliant labeling content regularly updated, with very little capital investment and no seat licenses.

Ink Jet Printing Partners

Digital inkjet label printing is revolutionizing the printing industry with low cost, fast, reliable label printers with excellent print quality. True print-on-demand label printing with low cost, durable inks renders preprinted label inventory prohibitively expensive and inefficient.

Laser Printing Partners

Digital color laser printing was critical to successfully implementing GHS worldwide, using primarily sheet-fed printer platforms. Traditional laser and LED printers are now available with roll-to-roll capability for both wide format (8.5” width) and smaller size labels. Laser/LED print quality and speed set a high standard – and the roll-to-roll printed labels are built for auto-application.

Brandywine recognizes that thermal transfer printing remains a manufacturing and warehouse standard for barcode and other black and white monochrome labels

Thermal Printing Partners

With the advent of digital color printers, along with the adoption of GHS and color pictograms, the demand for thermal transfer printing options has decreased. However, Brandywine recognizes that thermal transfer printing remains a manufacturing and warehouse standard for barcode and other black and white monochrome labels. We continue to support the thermal printing platform by offering our Thermal-Twin labels in most standard sizes.

Regulatory Software

All SDS Authoring systems today include an integrated labeling module to design and print labels with information being pushed or pulled from their EHS and ERP systems. At Brandywine, we work with all the major regulatory software providers and utilize our own expertise in relational database software systems to make sure this critical component of a solid labeling program fits with the other two components - hardware and label media.

Brandywine supports major labeling software solutions including our own LCT system, BarTender, NiceLabel and Loftware.
